2011 Mountains to the Sea Challenge

Location: D.H. Conley High School (Greenville, N.C.)

The 2nd annual Mountains to the Sea Challenge will be held at D.H. Conley High School.  The 1st annual Challenge was held at North Davidson High School.  This a great event pitting some of the best teams from the West against some of the best teams from the East.  This event is only open to varsity squads.  As of 9/8/10, we are looking for 1 more team from the West and 2 teams from the East.

Lady Vikings Easter Softball Tournament
D.H. Conley High School

Date: April 22nd (Friday), April 23rd (Saturday) & April 25th (Monday)
Location: Sara Law Softball Complex (
Winterville, N.C.)
Entry fee: None
 

The D.H. Conley softball program is hosting the 13th annual Lady Vikings Easter Softball Tournament. The tournament is a bracket play format with a 3-game guarantee.  The tournament is open to both junior varsity and varsity squads.  NCHSAA high school softball rules and regulations apply.

Down East Scrimmages
D.H. Conley High School

Date: February 19th, 2011 & February 26th, 2011
Location: Sara Law Softball Complex (Winterville, N.C.)
Entry fee: $50.00 for each scrimmage date

The D.H. Conley softball program is once again hosting the Down East Scrimmages.  We can accommodate 22 teams per scrimmage date.  As of 9/8/10, we have 17 spots open for February 19th and 6 spots open for February 26th.  Teams will have 3 scrimmage games per scrimmage date. You chose one of the dates or both.  The scrimmages are open only to varsity squads.

 2011 Pre-Season Scrimmages

St. Stephens High School will hold two SEPARATE jamborees at the Highland Recreation Center, City of Hickory (NC) Recreation Department.  Due to overwhelming response from the past two years, we will try to accommodate everyone with two separate jamborees.  Schools have the option of attending one or both.

The cost for each jamboree is $100.

  • 40-45 teams expected
  • top teams receive scholarship money for their programs
  • pool play followed by a 16 team championship round for non- N.C./VA. schools
  • North Carolina and Virginia teams compete in a separate scholarship division to accommodate limitations under the rules of their state high school associations.
  • Sanctioned by NFHS

Participants, unable to play in Sunday's championship round due to state regulations, will be eligible for 3 scholarship awards based on pool records only.  We do play 4 guaranteed pool games so participants need to be sure and adjust schedules accordingly to abide by state regulations. 

North Carolina and Virginia teams should consult their state associations’ rules governing out-of-state play, as well as weekly and seasonal game limitations.
